Dissemination Workshop
Workshop in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine
On November 15, one of our participants conducted a workshop for 20 participants focused on media literacy and countering disinformation. Due to limited resources at the venue—there was no electricity and generators were in use—it was not possible to display the presentation on a screen. As a result, the workshop topic was written on a sheet of paper instead; this also explains why the visibility in the photos may be limited. It is hoped that the workshop title is still visible in the documentation.
During the session, young people from Kryvyi Rih learned about fake news, methods for verifying information, and the role of propaganda in shaping opinions. As the main audience consisted of young people from a Christian association, the discussion was tailored to this group, with particular attention to how information influences personal beliefs and decision-making. Participants reflected on practical ways to avoid misinformation and critically assess the content they encounter in everyday life.
Following the workshop, 15 participants registered on the Truth Youth website and successfully completed the course, demonstrating strong engagement and interest in the topic.
