Dissemination Workshop
Workshop in Lviv, Ukraine
On November 13, one of our participants conducted a workshop for UCU students at 6:00 p.m., lasting approximately one hour. Fourteen students attended the session. The workshop focused on propaganda techniques used by the Russian Federation in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war. During the session, concrete examples of information attacks and recurring propaganda narratives were analyzed.
A similar seminar was held on November 18 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv for six participants. While the overall structure remained similar, different examples of propaganda were discussed, providing additional perspectives on the topic.
The workshops could also be expanded to explore broader patterns of Russian propaganda that shape public opinion beyond the battlefield. These include long-term disinformation campaigns aimed at undermining trust in democratic institutions, efforts to influence foreign audiences through state-controlled media, and the use of fabricated historical narratives to justify aggression. Examining these aspects would further highlight how propaganda functions as a strategic tool in modern hybrid warfare.
